Tickets for newly added shows go on sale this Friday at 8am via ticketmaster.
Due to phenomenal demand, The Last Dinner Party have announced a second show in Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre for October 8, 2024, as part of their UK/Irish Tour to promote their debut album Prelude To Ecstasy.
They’ve also added an extra date in Belfast’s Telegraph building on September 18, and London’s Eventim Apollo on October 17.
The London-based baroque rockers have shot to prominence in recent months, releasing their debut LP last week, which Hot Press’ Pat Carty described as a “A record bursting at the seams with vaulting, magnificent, and refreshing ambition.”
“Ecstasy is a pendulum which swings between the extremes of human emotion, from the ecstasy of passion to the sublimity of pain, and it is this concept which binds our album together,” said the band of the album.

“This is an archaeology of ourselves; you can exhume our collective and individual experiences and influences from within its fabric. We exorcised guitars for their solos, laid bare confessions directly from diary pages, and summoned an orchestra to bring our vision to life.”
Starting off 2023 as a relative unknown, The Last Dinner Party achieved viral success last April, with ‘Nothing Matters’ acting as an introduction to their distinct aesthetic. Performances at festivals like Glastonbury and their own headline shows swiftly followed, capping off the year with a BRIT Rising Star award.
Tickets for The Last Dinner Party’s extra Dublin show start from €35.15 and go on sale Friday February 9 at 8AM via ticketmaster.ie.
