The band is still set to play in Dublin’s 3Oympia on October 7.
The Last Dinner Party have announced the cancellation of four of their upcoming tour dates due to illness.
They had already postponed their Cardiff concert at the last minute this weekend after a band member fell ill. Now, it is their shows in Birmingham, Nottingham and Bristol that have been scrapped.
Writing on X, the band said: “This is due to an unforeseen illness in the band and, following medical advice, we have to prioritise our health at this time.

“TLDP is here today because of you and we want to keep touring and sharing our music with you for a long long time – but in order to do that we have to make serious decisions like these now so that our long term health doesn’t suffer.”
The tour is however set to be picked back up in time for their October 7 gig in Dublin’s 3Olympia, which is now sold out.
The tour is in support of their 2024 album Prelude to Ecstasy, which Hot Press qualified as living “up to the hope and hype”.
