The Mary Wallopers have added another UK date for 2024, with the band set to close out their Spring tour with a performance at London's Roundhouse.
Dundalk folk outfit The Mary Wallopers have announced an extra show at London's Roundhouse on March 22nd, as a part of their spring 2024 UK tour.
Last month, the band announced their biggest UK shows to date, which will see them perform dates in Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle and Bristol, throughout March next year. The seven-piece are currently touring in support of their sophomore record Irish Rock N' Roll, which released in October.

Following on from the band's critically lauded self-titled debut, for the first time, the record includes original Mary Wallopers compositions, alongside collected songs. A raucously impassioned barrage of trad instrumentation and socio-politically aware lyrical commentary, the record was widely met with critical appraisal upon its release; Hot Press's Lucy O' Toole praising the record as "an essential step-up for one of the most defiant yet inherently honest forces in modern Irish music."

Having played a spate of dates across the UK, The Mary Wallopers are currently on the road, touring Ireland and Scotland for the rest of December. The Mary Wallopers are also set to make summer appearances at the Isle Of Wight Festival, Latitude and TRNSMT. In what's been a remarkably busy year for the group, 2023 saw the band embark on a North American tour, before playing Dublin's Vicar Street earlier this month, as well as November's Gig for Gaza.
Tickets for The Mary Wallopers' upcoming UK gigs are available from Friday December 15th at 9.30 am via Ticketmaster, while tickets for the rest of the shows are already on sale.
