It's a great day for the Parish as the Dundalk septet will be back with a special concert livestreamed to Youtube on Christmas Day.
Dundalk 7-piece The Mary Wallopers have unveiled the return of their Christmas livestream concert special, which will take place on Christmas Day at 8pm via Youtube.
The livestream was announced via the band's socials yesterday with a video directed by Sean McMahon, reminding fans to keep their eyes peeled on the mailing list for further updates. You can sign up to their mailing list via The Mary Wallopers' website.
In other news from The Mary Wallopers, they will also be selling items at this year's Merchy Christmas at the Grand Social next weekend, alongside Lankum, Gurriers, Kojaque and more.
Open from 11am to 7pm on 14 and 15 December, admission is free, with a suggested donation of €6 – which is being split between Dublin Simon Community and the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. Last year, the event raised close to €15,000, and for 2024, organisers are hoping to raise even more to share between their two charity partners. A jumbo raffle will take place each day, featuring limited-edition merch donated by the artists taking part across the weekend.

The Wallopers are also embarking on their biggest tour yet this month. The 7 Drunken Nights Christmas tour includes four nights at Dublin’s Vicar Street, plus shows at Killarney Arena, Cork City Hall, culminating in a huge show at Belfast The SSE Arena on Sunday 29th December.
