The Dundalk ballad group kick off the tour this weekend.
As they prepare to set off on their upcoming 'Old Britannia Loves Us Still' tour, The Mary Wallopers have unveiled their brilliant – though slightly terrifying – new tour bus paint job, courtesy of Ominous Omin.
"Old Britannia Loves us Still!" the Dundalk trio wrote on social media. "Well we’ll see how much they love us when we go across the land singing about butchering landlords. We leave this Saturday and we are buzzing..."

Made up of brothers Andrew and Charles Hendy, as well as Sean McKenna, the Dundalk ballad group have rapidly established themselves as a captivating force in Irish music – with their trademark combination of charm, irreverence, staggering talent and a fiercely DIY ethos. In 2019, they released their acclaimed debut EP, A Mouthful of The Mary Wallopers.

Over lockdown, their live-streamed gigs from the Hendys' home in Dundalk helped them to build up a major online fanbase – following appearances on the Tommy Tiernan Show, and the Fontaines D.C.-curated Rock Against Homelessness night at the Olympia Theatre, Dublin in 2020.
The trio were set to play three dates at Vicar Street in December, which have now been rescheduled to March 17 and April 17.
