Announced at BIME Festival in Bilbao yesterday, Music Moves Europe Awards 2024 shared the fifteen artists nominated for the next edition of the highly anticipated awards.
The eagerly anticipated annual Music Moves Europe Awards unveiled the sensational artists who have been nominated for the 2024 prestigious awards, announced yesterday, October 26 at the BIME Festival in Bilbao.
The fifteen nominees from across the European music landscape are: Bulgarian Cartrader (Bulgaria), Fran Vasilić (Croatia), Giift (Denmark), Pearly Drops (Finland), Zaho de Sagazan (France), CLOCK CLOCK (Germany), Arny Margret (Iceland), yunè pinku (Ireland), Tramhaus (Netherlands), Ash Olsen (Norway), Berry Galazka (Poland), Ana Lua Caiano (Portugal), freekind. (Slovenia), Ralphie Choo (Spain), waterbaby (Sweden).

Each year, the prestigious awards ceremony celebrates the emerging artists who represent a forward-thinking European sound. Organised by ESNS and MME Awards with the intent to accelerate the international careers of upcoming European artists, music fans and and an international jury will vote on award winners at the ceremony on Thursday, January 18, 2024.

Former winners include; Stromae, Alyona Alyona, Rosalia, The Haunted Youth, Dua Lipa, Sans Soucis, Hozier, Meskerem Mees, Christine and the Queens and Inhaler.
Music fans across Europe will have the chance to select the winner of the MME Public Choice Award 2024 leading up to the ceremony via the Music Moves Europe Awards website. Last year’s Public Choice Award Winner, Jerry Heil from Ukraine, will become a member of the forthcoming MME jury.
Heil spoke of his position, stating, “As a jury member I will search for those who sing right from the heart.”
Five artists will be selected as winners by an international jury and one artist will be chosen for the Grand Jury Prize. Each winner receives €10,000, with the Grand Jury Award winner receiving an additional green touring voucher worth €5,000 and the winner of the Public Choice Award earning an additional €5,000.
All winners will be revealed at the Music Moves Europe Awards ceremony on January 18, 2024 at Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, the Netherlands. The fifteen nominees are invited to play at the ceremony and also to join the MME education program, organised by ESNS and partners of the MME Awards.
The Music Moves Europe Awards is a key component of the European Union's efforts to support and promote the European music sector. It aims to empower emerging artists and professionals in the industry while fostering a united and diverse European music scene.
