The Murder Capital have just announced an acoustic instore/outstore tour of their upcoming album Gigi’s Recovery.
The promise of “playing tracks, signing records and hanging out” awaits fans who purchase tickets for the Crane Lane Theatre, Cork and Tower Records, Dublin dates - as well as their Workman's Club launch.
The Irish band’s new album is set to drop on 20th January 2023, and is available to pre-order now.
This is the group’s second album, with their debut, When I Have Fears, having been followed up with a sold out UK and Europe tour in 2019.
The Dublin-formed band’s new song ‘Ethel’ is a reflection of previous desires and priorities.

Gigi’s Recovery foreshadows The Murder Capital exploring new sonic territory, with more inventive electronics, masterful guitar work and a strong rhythmic force.
Speaking about the creation of their unreleased album, the band shared, “For us, having worked on Gigi’s Recovery over the past two-plus years, now knowing every detail of every room in this house that we have built together, all we want to do is invite everybody in.
“The greatest thing about making a record is touring a record,” they added. “The connection we make and the energy created at our live shows is the highest point for us. We can’t wait to meet new faces in the crowds, and to see this record under the new light that each and every one of you will shine on it. No better place to be than in the centre of it all.”
Set to make an appearance at said venues on the 19th and 20th January respectively, tickets for both dates can be found on themurdercapital.com.
Tickets for the rest of The Murder Capital’s tour can be found via Ticketmaster.ie, when they are due to play Vicar Street on 26th February, 2023.
