Tickets for the Sunday of the festival go on sale this week...
In the run-up to Fall Right Into Place – which is set return to Claregalway Castle, just outside Galway city, on September 16 & 17 – The Murder Capital have been announced as the Sunday night headliners.
The former Hot Press cover stars are the second big name to be announced for the festival – with Pillow Queens headlining the Saturday night.
Presented by Irish label and music agency Strange Brew, this will be the third edition of Fall Right Into Place.
The Murder Capital will arrive at Claregalway Castle fresh from a busy summer of festival appearances across Europe and the UK – as well as a slot at Electric Picnic. The band, who originally formed in Dublin, released their acclaimed second album, Gigi's Recovery, earlier this year. The John Congleton-produced LP debuted at No.1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart, dethroning Taylor Swift's Midnights.
"This is killer stuff from The Murder Capital," Will Russell wrote in his nine-star review of the album for Hot Press. "If there's any justice, it should be huge..."

Many more artists are expected to be announced for both the Saturday and Sunday of Fall Right Into Place over the weeks ahead, with performances taking place across two stages at the festival.
You can also look forward to a full craft beer bar from Galway Bay Brewery, a cocktail bar, a wine and cheese bar, an oyster stall, the Dela food truck, and Weirdough Pizza.
A return bus service will be running from Galway Cathedral and back to Galway’s West End for a late night music trail in Róisín Dubh, The Blue Note, Massimo, Bierhaus & Salthouse – with tickets available here.
Tickets for the Sunday (September 17) of Fall Right Into Place are €36 (plus booking fee), and go on sale this Wednesday, July 5, at 10am from fallrightintoplace.ie
