The National Concert Hall has announced a new collaboration with Irish composer and fiddle player Martin Hayes and The National Symphony Orchestra on Friday March 14, 2025.
The concert, which comes as part of the NCH St Patrick's weekend celebrations, will centre around a reimagining of Martin's acclaimed 2023 album Peggy’s Dream. The record, which pays homage to Martin’s mother Peggy as well as his long time collaborator Dennis Cahill, will be presented in new arrangements by orchestra. The performance will mark the first time Martin Hayes will perform with The National Symphony Orchestra.
