Wexford band The Ocelots have announced a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming album and tour.
Twins Ashely and Brandon Watson have been making music for 10 years without a record label. They have toured globally, produced two EPs, and released a debut album Started To Wonder in 2020.
The Kickstarter aims to raise over €20,000 for recording, mixing, and mastering the album, and to pay for vinyl pressing, a PR campaign, and tour costs.

Gearing up for a European tour this November, the funds will also help pay fellow musicians and cover venue fees.
The band said that they have some unrecorded songs from the past three years which they aim to include in the album.
“Over the past three years, we have been writing new music and recording ourselves in our rehearsal space in Leipzig,” they said. “We have dozens of unrecorded songs in the last three years and our plan is to pick our favourite ten and record them with the best musicians we know to the best quality the songs deserve.”
