Taken from Jape‘s fourth studio album, the triumphant Ocean Of Frequency, ?The Oldest Mind‘ is a drifting, meandering nugget of electronic nostalgia. Evoking both Berlin, the band, and Berlin, the city, this track is chock-full of doom-laden synth, distorted build-ups and other ?80s footnotes. Superb.
