The Pointer Sisters to visit Irish shores
Newly-reformed soulsters The Pointer Sisters will play a show in Dublin this winter.
First it was Sister Sledge and now it’s The Pointer Sisters who are hitting the comeback trail and coming to Dublin for a November 23 show in the Tripod.
While June Pointer tragically died last year of lung cancer, Ruth and Anita are still on board and joined by Ruth’s grown-up daughter Issa.
Expect a set packed with hits such as 'I'm So Excited', 'Jump (For My Love)' and 'Automatic'.
Tickets costing €37.50 and €42.50 are available from Ticketmaster, Road Records, City Discs, Sound Cellar and usual outlets, or alternatively from www.ticketmaster.ie.
