The Kildare rock quartet return with their newest single ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw,’ released today along with an enrapturing music video. Check it out below!
Four-piece Irish band The Psychs have spent the better half of 2023 on the rise, and their momentum is only gaining with the release of their newest, raucous single ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw,’ out today on all platforms.
The Kildare garage rockers aim and land in their mission to bring Rock ‘n’ Roll back to the Irish scene with their latest release, which showcases the dimensional band in a different light. ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw’ sees The Psychs take a left turn, leaving listeners to witness them galloping off into the neon sunset of the wild west to the sound of groovy riffs and electrifying bass.
The tune combines elements from their musical tastes, fusing 80’s disco and country blues with their classic rock grit for a new yet revived sound. Forming in 2020, the band add their latest release to an impressive discography consisting of their debut ‘Son of the Dragon,’ recent single ‘Rock Bottoms Up (Drinking On The Bus),’ and their debut EP The Devil’s Favourite Son, released earlier this year.

The Psychs take inspiration from Queens of the Stone Age, AC/DC, Royal Blood, and The Dead Weather and Motley Cruë, formulating a new, modern revival of the classic rock sound.
The single is released alongside a new music video shot on location at The Medley on Fleet Street, Dublin. Adam Stewart stars in his debut role as the swagger-dripped, strutting ‘Sweet Tooth Outlaw,’ who ultimately meets his tragically comic fate.
The music video features the full band alongside their fans, shot and directed by Craig Johnston and co-directed by lead vocalist Billy Kid Jones.
The Psychs are gearing up to play two sets at Other Voices on December 2, before they headline The Workman’s Club Cellar on February 3. Tickets go on sale this coming Monday, November 27 at 10.00am at €13 including booking via Ticketmaster.ie.
