The band will be playing at Sea Sessions in June, as well as joining Big Country on their Irish tour in September.
Rising Irish rock band The Psychs have released their newest single ‘So Real, Surreal’ alongside a lyric music video for the song.
The new single is a solid rock beat adorned with goth elements on a heavy bass line, and features Saoirse Lawlor, vocalist of post-pop band SRSHA, providing backing vocals.
Recorded by Michael Richards at Trackmix Studios in Dublin, the track's final cut was mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
The band previously released 'The Bullet Song' in January this year, which Hot Press described as “a menacing two minutes and forty-eight seconds of wild western guitar riffs and gothic church organs.”
Last year The Psychs dropped their debut EP The Devil’s Favourite Son. The EP took influence from some of the band's favourites sounds: Queens of the Stone Age, AC/DC, Royal Blood, and The Dead Weather and Mötley Crüe, and formulated a new, modern revival of the classic rock sound.
The Kildare four-piece consists of vocals from Billy Kid Jones, Ben Redmond playing guitar, Clampo on bass, and Aaron McCarthy on drums.

In February this year, The Psychs played their first sold-out headline show in The Workmans Club Cellar, and were invited to join both Dea Matrona and The Southern River Band as special guests for their respective spring Dublin shows.
The rock band will be performing at Sea Sessions festival in Bundoran, Donegal on June 22, as well as appearing as special guests for Big Country in their Dublin, Belfast, Limerick and Cork shows in September.
