The reunited Minneapolis group played a rousing gig in London last night almost 25 years since their last performance in the city.
Frontman Paul Westerberg wore a yellow t-shirt and a baggy pair of trousers onstage while proceeding to remove the t-shirt half-way through the band's set to reveal a white t-shirt with the letter 'S' painted on the back.
The band have been wearing t-shirts which seem to spell out the message "I have always loved you now I must whore my past" for the duration of their tour. As in their earlier performing days the band sang a variety of covers including 'Maybellene' by Chuck Berry and Barbie Gaye's 'My Boy Lollipop' along with their own well-known tracks including 'Bastards of Young' and 'Androgynous.
The Replacements play their next gig at London's Roundhouse tonight before finishing their tour in Porto on June 5.
