The live music showcase will take place across multiple venues in the city next year.
Following the cancellation of The Road To The Great Escape earlier this year due to Covid-19 restrictions, the live music showcase has announced that it will return to Dublin next year – with performances across The Grand Social, Whelan's, Workman's and The Academy from May 10 to 11.
The showcase, which takes place in the run-up to The Great Escape in Brighton, will reveal its full line-up in November – with tickets on sale now. Malaki, Alex Gough, April and Somebody's Child were among the artists scheduled to play The Road To The Great Escape in 2020.
Before reaching Dublin, The Road To The Great Escape will also stop off in Glasgow from May 8 to 9.
“We’re really pleased to announce we will be heading on tour to Glasgow and Dublin to launch our brand new music showcase The Road To The Great Escape in May 2021!" Rory Bett, the CEO of MAMA Festivals announced in a statement. "We look forward to sharing the line up later this year – it will once again be one that should not be missed.”
