The band will welcome Damien Dempsey as special guest.
The Saw Doctors are set to headline a major Cork concert next summer at Virgin Media Park on Saturday June 14, with special guest Damien Dempsey. It will mark their first Cork date in 14 years.
The band will also be releasing their new EP Wha’D’Ya Think A That on Friday, November 1. Produced by Philip Tennant in Grouse Lodge Studios, the new record includes the Galway band’s recent singles, ‘Man in The Moon’ and ‘I Love To Go Awanderin’’.
The show follows sellout gigs in New York's Central Park and Dublin's Fairview Park, as well as a triumphant ‘comeback' performance on the Electric Picnic main stage.

The Saw Doctors have just finished a three month summer tour that included outdoor shows in Belfast at Custom House Square, Manchester at Castlefield Bowl and Glasgow at Kelvingrove Park with pit stops along the way in Munich, Brussels, Amsterdam, Boston, Chicago as well as two hometown gigs at the Galway Arts Festival Big Top in July.
Before their date in Cork, the band will kick off a major UK winter tour in London at the Hammersmith Apollo on Halloween night, October 31 before playing sell out gigs in Liverpool, Leeds and two shows at the famous Barrowland venue in Glasgow before Christmas.
