The band will be starting in Ireland and then making their way to Manchesters’ Castlefield Bowl on July 6 and then the U.S. where they will play at Central Park in New York on July 17.
The group has seen great success after taking a five-year break from touring. Last year they played sold-out shows in London, New York, and Tuam. Then this past September, The Saw Doctors played at Electric Picnic and then four sold-out shows at 3Olympia right before Christmas.
The band consists of seven members: Davy Carton for vocals, Leo Moran on guitar, Anthony Thistlethwaite on saxophone, Rickie O’Neill on drums, Will Merrigan on bass guitar, Kieran Duffy on keyboards and Noelie McDonnell on backing vocals.

The Saw Doctors had a major hit in 1990 when I Useta Lover hit number one in Ireland and stayed number one for nine weeks, at which point it became the biggest selling Irish single.
They again received some notoriety in August of 2021 when they re-released their debut album If This Is Rock And Roll, I Want My Old Job Back, which ended at number three on Irish charts.
Tickets for their Fairview Park show will be going on sale Friday January 26 at 9 a.m. You can find them at www.ticketmaster.ie.
