Dublin four piece The Scratch have been announced as special guests for Dropkick Murphys’ upcoming North American tour, along with American punk band Pennywise.
The tour will mark The Scratch's second collaboration with Dropkick Murphys, after joining them on their recent St Patrick’s Day tour across the US last March.
Set to kick off on September 24 in New York City, the tour will include a number of Canadian and North American dates, such as Toronto, Detroit and Milwaukee, before wrapping up on October 27 in Amherst, Massachusetts.

The tour follows Dropkick Murphys’ string of summer festival dates, including a show in Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens on July 7.
The Scratch are set to headline Folly Festival and Doolin Folkfest this summer. They will also be performing at Beyond The Pale festival, as well as Glastonbury's Field of Avalon area and Shangri-La area.
Speaking of The Scratch in an interview with Hot Press, lead singer and bassist Ken Casey said: “When you've been around as long as we have, it's very rare when you come across a band that's just unique. They’re definitely in the top three bands we've ever had the pleasure to share the stage with.”
