The band have announced another Irish date for their upcoming tour due to exceptional demand.
A third and final show on Thursday 14 November has been added to The Script’s Satellites tour, in addition to the shows on the 13 and 15 in the 3Arena, Dublin.
The tour will follow the release of the band’s newest album Satellites on 16 August this year.
Vocalist Danny O’Donaghue paid tribute to their late band member and friend, Mark Sheehan, by continuing the band they had built together and returning to the studio to create Satellites.
Sheehan, who was one of the founding members of the band, passed away at the age of 46 from a short illness in April last year.
The album was co-written with Steve Robson (Rascal Flatts, Take That) and Wayne Hector (One Direction, Nicki Minaj) as well as bandmate Glen Power, and made using 808s and playing with R&B-inspired sounds.

“The album cover is silhouettes of me, Glen and Ben Sargeant, our bassist, who's been with us from the beginning. Then we have a hooded silhouette, because the air of Mark is still there,” O’Donoghue explained.
“He always will be, but it's also giving a tip of the hat to the future. It'll never be the same Script. We're just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and that’s to keep making more great music.”
The single ‘Both Ways’ from the album is available to listen to now.
‘Both Ways’ suggests a change in sonic direction for the band, and drummer Glen Power describes the single as high energy and unexpected.
“We’re The Script, and now we have something to prove: that there is life and light after the darkness. It’s why we’re coming fast and strong with that one,” He said.
Tickets for the additional show on November 14 are available here. Satellites is available to pre-save here.
