Originally played at Montreux Jazz Festival last July, 'Bending Hectic' has now made its digital release
Currently on tour across America, English rock trio The Smile have just unveiled their latest track 'Bending Hectic.'
It's the first track to be released as a single since the band's debut album A Light for Attracting Attention. Despite it only dropping in 2022, however, The Smile's members are no strangers to the music scene. Made up of Radiohead members Thom Yorke and Johnny Greenwood plus Tom Skinner, who you might know from his work as the drummer for Sons of Kemet, they're a talented rock act fearlessly taking the world by storm.

Either way, 'Bending Hectic' is a long awaited piece of music. While it originally debuted last July in front of the Montreux Jazz Festival crowd, the trio withheld the track from the festival's live album. Instead, it now makes its digital debut across streaming platforms on its own and as in its new Abbey Road Studios recorded glory.

Produced by Sam Petts-Davies, a previous collaborator of Radiohead's, The Smile's 8-minute long new track also included the London Contemporary Orchestra, who played the strings.
