Lisa Hanigan and Loah have been announced as special guests for the Dublin dates.
The Songs of Joni Mitchell returns this autumn with a stunning line up of artists paying tribute to Joni Mitchell for a run of shows across Ireland.
The tour will stop in Town Hall Theatre, Galway on October 28, Dolan’s Warehouse, Limerick on the 29, and finally Dublin's 3Olympia on October 30.
Singer-songwriters Jesca Hoop, Kate Stables (This Is The Kit), and Lail Arad will perform intimate interpretations of their favourite Joni Mitchell songs. They’ll also be joined by Richard Sears on piano, with special guest appearances by Lisa Hannigan and Loah in Dublin.
Originally conceived and curated by Lail Arad to celebrate Joni Mitchell’s 80th birthday and hosted by Cerys Matthews, The Songs of Joni Mitchell has featured performances from Emeli Sandé, Eska, Jesca Hoop, Kate Stables, Lail Arad, Olivia Chaney, Sam Amidon, and Vashti Bunyan.
The Irish shows are part of a broader UK and Ireland tour, which also includes a date in Paris, France.
