The Staves postpone Olympia show
The red hot alt. folk sister act will now play Dublin in May.
Having sold-out Whelan’s - it really was sardine-room only - The Staves were due to return to Dublin next month.
The gig set for February 9 in the Olympia has been postponed, however, with the band now set to play their Irish show on Wednesday May 6. All tickets purchased will still be valid for the rescheduled show.
Emily, Jessica and Camilla also have a new album, If I Was, out on January 30 which was recorded in Wisconsin with Bon Iver producing.
The making-of video suggests some really splendid rural isolation.
If you’ve yet to sample the Watford sisters’ close harmony folk pop, you’re in for a treat!
