With song after song full of aching melodies, luscious harmonies, chorus, chime and riffs that'll have you quaking in your boots, it isn't hard to see what all the fuss is about
Rock ’n’ roll is back. Or, at least, so say The Voyeurs, a young Dublin band who’ve been kicking up dust on the circuit with their infinitely infectious amalgam of retro rock. Set to become the new darlings of the live scene, they’ve been playlisted on national radio, packed out the TBMC on their virgin appearance and filled the support shoes for the likes of Snow Patrol and The Revs. Not bad for a band who’ve been together a mere four months.
With song after song full of aching melodies, luscious harmonies, chorus, chime and riffs that’ll have you quaking in your boots, it isn’t hard to see what all the fuss is about. However, the cement of the structure lies in the quality of lyricism – no more apparent than on the cheekily titled ‘You Only Want Me When You’re Drunk’.

The beauty of this formula is its simplicity – unabashed rock ’n’ roll that still manages to sound fresh, relevant and above all, pretty darn good. Make no mistake, The Voyeurs are the ones to watch.
