Animation has come on so quickly. It used to be so costly that only the foolhardy or those on ludicrous Major Deals could afford such folly. Now, with technology turning the industry on its head, it’s possible for people outside the system to make high-quality animation for relatively little. And the Del 9 and D.A.D.D.Y. people are just way out there. They deserve all the success they get. If more people take the DIY road, then eventually a new infrastructure will form - and more people doing stuff, ultimately means better music, better videos, better promoters and better gigs - which means, in turn, a better industry.

I love this video. The whole idea of the Warlords of Pez is bang on: seriously fucked up and doing what comes naturally. They are showing people what can be done without ‘chasing a deal’. May the force be with them.
