Rock duo Jack and Meg White have re-united to sue Trump for unsanctioned use of 'Seven Nation Army'
Garage rock band The White Stripes are suing former U.S. president Donald Trump over the unauthorised usage of their 2003 hit 'Seven Nation Army'.
The alleged infringement took place in a campaign video posted by Trump's deputy director of communications Margo Martin, which features their track over footage of Trump boarding a plane.
The statement posted to Jack White's Instagram says the lawsuit "Seeks redress for a presidential candidate's flagrant misappropriation of the musical composition and sound recording Seven Nation Army."

Jack White previously warned the former president against using his music on Instagram. White says in an August 29 post, "Oh....Don't even think about using my music you fascists."
The White Stripes also denounced Trump's use of 'Seven Nation Army' during his 2016 campaign. The duo stated on their facebook that they are "disgusted by this association, and by the illegal use of their song."
Trump has been subject to lawsuits and criticism from an array of artists for unauthorised use of music, including the likes of ABBA, Beyoncé and Foo Fighters.
