The Go-Go’s comeback has quickly established them at the forefront of that middle-of-nowhere pop ground which they so emphatically dominated last time round. Their time spent outside the music industry seems to have liberated then enough to be able to poke fun at the media monster and ‘The Whole World Lost Its Head’ at least has an irreverent albeit inconsequential humour which makes it intriguing for a short while.
