The Wolfe Tones will be at Virgin Media Park on June 29.
On Saturday, June 29, The Wolfe Tones will be in Cork at Virgin Media Park for their 60th anniversary concert featuring special guests The Sharon Shannon Big Band, The Scratch and Ispiní na hÉireann.
This concert comes after a very successful summer when they performed for crowds at Electric Picnic and two sold out nights at Dublin’s 3Arena. The traditional Irish music band has announced that after 60 years of performing together they will now be retiring.
Their career has spanned from 1964 to 2024 the group has reached the peak of fame from which they will never come down. They started humbly in Dublin and eventually made their way to Carnegie Hall in New York and Olympia in Paris, The Wolfe Tones have entertained generations of fans across the globe.

The band will be bringing three special guests to the event; The Sharon Shannon Big Band, The Scratch and Ispiní na hÉireann all of which are versions of traditional Irish music that have attracted the attention of fans who follow The Wolfe Tones.
At the Virgin Media Park show, the group will play the hits that made them famous today including ‘Celtic Symphony’, ‘Grace’, ‘Let The People Sing’ and ‘The Streets Of New York’.
Tickets will go on sale on Friday February 2 at 9 a.m and will be available on their website. Tickets will start at €49.90 including booking fees.
