Following the sell-out success of The Wolfe Tones' Thomond Park Stadium final show on Sunday July 13, 2025, an extra date for the Limerick venue has been added for Friday, July 11.
“We have been completely overwhelmed by the response to our Thomond Park Stadium show, which sold out in record time!" said the band's Brian Warfield. "We are truly humbled by the incredible demand to see The Wolfe Tones live, and it’s an honour to bring our music to such an iconic venue. Due to the incredible demand, we are delighted to announce a second date. We look forward to sharing another unforgettable night with our fans.”
The two major outdoor concerts will take place a year after the trio, comprising Warfield, Tommy Byrne and Noel Nagle, embarked on their 60th anniversary tour across Ireland, culminating in three sold nights at the 3Arena in their hometown of Dublin. They also made headlines at the Electric Picnic festival in Stradbally in August, when their main stage set drew one of the largest crowds of the weekend.
The band have released a total of sixteen albums since their formation 1963, and have achieved acclaim both domestically and abroad, having been awarded the Freedom of the Cities of both New York and Los Angeles.
Tickets for The Wolfe Tones' additional Thomond Park show on July 11, 2025 start from €49.90 and go on sale on Friday, November 22 at 9am via ticketmaster.ie.
