The 12 track album features guest vocals from A$AP Rocky and Halsey.
Thirty Seconds To Mars have gained a cult following in the sixteen years since the release of their debut album. In addition, they've been the recipients of numerous MTV awards and hold a Guinness World Record for the Longest Running Tour in history.
Today they release 'AMERICA', a bubblegum pink album sleeve featuring "six American names" picked to reflect greatness.
Featuring both A$AP Rocky and Halsey, the album shows the shift in composition and instrumentation and a focus on the 'American Dream' as a topic of discussion within lyrics.
[The first single from the album] “Walk On Water is a song for all of us. It's a song about freedom, about persistence, about change and about fighting for what you believe in. It is a call to arms but also full of all the optimism and hope that is such an integral part of the American Dream,” states Jared Leto.
‘Walk On Water’, was the first single to be released off the album. The official music video is a just a sneak peek into the upcoming documentary film, “A Day in the Life of America.” Filmed on a single day, July 4th, 2017, in all 50 States, plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico by 92 professional film crews, 10,000 fan submissions, news and social media content, director Jared Leto presents a unique and historic portrait of America on a single day.
