Highly rhythmic, acoustic folk rock with a transatlantic feel is the metier of this Galway five-piece, who’ve amassed a considerable live following in places as far apart as Boston and Romania. Their debut EP blends a frantic stew of voices, guitars, bouzouki, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards, banjos and more on tracks like ‘Head in The Clouds’ and ‘Gotta Get Paid’. They tone down for the more melodic AOR of ‘Lemon Lady’ and the gentle country bluegrass ballad ‘Thinking About A Walk’. ‘Escape’ is the nearest thing to a straight up pop song here. CO’H
