Three's City Stages is making its way to Kilkenny later this month with a special chance for one of the the six chosen acts to then play at this year's Electric Picnic.
A platform for budding Irish artists, Three's City Stages typically promotes busking Irish talent in order to widen their horizons across the country and possibly even beyond.
A part of Three's commitment to All For Music, it has since transformed into an opportunity to share local musician's talented prowess and launch careers. Earlier this year, one performer from the Waterford City Stages event, Tia Burke, was then chosen to open for Self Esteem at her sold-out 3Olympia Theatre show.
Now, Three's offering a chance for up-and-coming artists to play at this year's Electric Picnic.
Besides already visiting Waterford, City Stages has also visited Dublin, Limerick, and Galway, with each location introducing six artists to new audiences. As Three's City Stages is due to arrive in Kilkenny soon, the six artists chosen for Kilkenny's stage will have a chance to then appear at the Electric Picnic festival later this September.

The Kilkenny City Stages event will take place from 12 to 3PM at The Parade in Kilkenny Town Centre on Saturday, May 27th. Supported by Sony Music Ireland, AIM Ireland, and City Stages ambassador, Tracy Clifford, the Three's City Stages event can be applied to online.
Anyone who applies will also gain access to a series of mentoring masterclasses. The six acts selected will get their own timeslots and professionally-curated content of their performance at the event.
