The Noise Pop sextet will perform what's expected to be a delightfully savage show at the Dublin venue, on November 15.
THUMPER Rock'n'Rollers are a rising gem who burst onto the effervescent Irish and UK scene with a huge bang. Made of four guitarists stage front and 2 drummers from Dublin, those guys are here to make some noise - as loud as it possibly can be.
They have a fun way of describing their sound, which they say on their Spotify page delivers "bubble-gum psych through a wall of sonic death" - and at a time when true rockers seem to be a vanishing species, we are totally here for it!
THUMPER are known for their constantly sold-out, boisterous live shows with plenty of sweat and messy behaviours, which never fail to drive their audience into a complete frenzy.
With mainstream support across UK radio from Steve Lamaq at BBC Radio 6, BBC Introducing Across the Line, Kerrang! Radio and Amazing Radio, it’s no wonder the noise pop rockers are constantly topping the “Ones To Watch” lists.
This summer, the band have been getting plenty of exciting slots at major festivals such as Body & Soul, Barcelona’s Primavera, Kaleidoscope and Electric Picnic.
They released their second single '(You're Bringing Me) Down' in October last year via Reckless Records - an extremely catchy song which convey 7 minutes and 7 seconds of an insanely infectious energy.

Hot Press journalist Stuart Clark, who had a lenghty interview with them back in February, called it "a veritable intercontinental ballistic missile of a song produced by Girl Band’s Dan Fox who’s become something of a father confessor to Thumper."
Oisin Leahy Furlong, THUMPER's mainman explained: “Live we’ve always known we can pull it off, but we hadn’t 100% nailed a single until we did ‘(You’re Bringing Me) Down’ with Dan. It was one of the first things I wrote in 2015, but we needed three years to catch up with its ambition. We know when something’s ready to go and when it’s not. We don’t automatically think we’re geniuses. We wait until we’ve rehearsed the fuck out of something before we let other people hear it. Anyway, the reaction to ‘(You’re Bringing Me) Down’ when we stuck it on Spotify was unlike anything we’d known before.”
Earlier this summer they released ‘Out of Body Auto-Message’, a 5-track vinyl with an exclusive signing at Tower Records and a completely sold-out headline show at Dublin’s Lost Lane live music venue.
The rockers are more than ready to show it off on the Grand Social stage, and there is absolutely no doubt the crowd will go effin wild for it. Grab a ticket before they're all gone!
