Thundercat will tour the UK but won’t visit Ireland.
Thundercat has announced a tour of the UK and Europe in 2022 to support his 2020 album It Is What It Is.
The bassist, whose real name is Stepehn Bruner, had his original tour cancelled due to the pandemic. The tour begins in Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom on March 29th, he then ventures to Manchester to play the Academy on April 1st and wraps up the UK leg in London’s O2 Academy Brixton on April 3rd. It ends in Berlin on April 10th.
The two-time Grammy winner will also play a string of dates in America this year kicking off in Omaha, Nebraska on July 31st and ending in Boise, Idaho on December 12th. Channel Tres will join him as a supporting act.

Thundercat worked with Haim on ‘3am’ which featured on an expanded version of their album Women In Music, Part III which dropped in Febraury. He also collaborated with Flying Lotus on ‘Black Gold,’ which featured on the score for the Netflix series Yasuke.
