The tickets sold out swiftly after a new booking system was used.
Standard tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2025 in Somerset sold out in 35 minutes after organisers used a new online queuing system.
Instead of having to refresh the holding page once tickets went live, the new system saw ticket-eyers getting “randomly assigned a place in the queue”.
Tickets for the festival, which is set to take place between June 25 and 29 next year, cost £373.50 plus a £5 booking fee. This is an increase of £18.50 from last year’s price.
The annual event at Worthy Farm sold out faster this year than last year, with tickets becoming sold out after around an hour.

Organisers said: "Thanks to everyone who bought one and sorry to those who missed out, on a morning when demand was much higher than supply. There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2025."
This year, the legendary festival saw Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA take to the stage.
