Ring in 2024 with New Year's Festival Dublin, Ireland’s biggest New Year’s celebration. The 4-day citywide festival, running from December 29 through January 1, merges the nation’s best talents together for a host of unforgettable events taking place in 3 venues across Dublin City.
With the first line up of acts for a selection of the events set to take place shared this week – with many more yet to be announced! – the options are endless and unmissable. Dance the night away at the historical National Museum of Ireland, Collins Barracks, immerse yourself in music and celebration at the stunning surrounds of Dublin Castle, and experience some of the country’s best folk performers at the award-winning architectural space Meeting House Square, in the heart of Temple Bar.

Hosted at the National Museum of Ireland - Decorative Arts & History, Collins Barracks, NYF Dublin’s Block Rockin Beats will host live performances across 3 stages, plus headliner Dec Pierce, taking place Saturday, December 30.
The event will feature special guest performances from Chasing Abbey, Ryan Mack, Jen Payne, Hamsandwich, R.S.A.G, Sinead White, Chubby Cat and DJs Emma Power, Shelly Gray & Fergal D'Arcy. Tickets for Block Rockin Beats’ 18s and over event go on sale today from €29.90 including booking fee.
For whole family fun, head to Dublin Castle on Sunday, December 31 and count down the final moments of 2023 at the Midnight Moment Matinee. Rising Irish artists Moncrieff, Lea Heart and Lucy Gaffney have been announced as performers for the special day, which will centre around a magical earlier countdown event for all ages to enjoy.

Tickets for NYF’s Midnight Moment Matinee are on sale today at 9am, priced €22.90 including booking fee for a family of up to 2 adults and 2 children, plus €7.90 for additional / individual matinee tickets. A maximum of 4 people per group, with minimum 1 parent/guardian required.
After welcoming in the New Year, make it a full day of celebrations with family and friends and hop between concerts across two venues, Dublin Castle and Meeting House Square.
The New Year’s Day Concert in Dublin Castle will feature live performances from Jerry Fish, Dublin Gospel Choir, Code Of Behaviour & The New Brass Kings. At Meeting House Square, catch performances from Rónán Ó Snodaigh and Myles O'Reilly, Dani Larkin, Niamh Bury and Sola.
Both of these New Year’s Day events are free, non-ticketed family friendly events.
