The German metal band will perform at Belfast's Boucher Road Playing Fields in June 2020.
Back in June, Rammstein announced a major European stadium tour for 2020 - including a stop at Belfast. The venue hosting the controversial metal band on June 17 has been confirmed as Boucher Road Playing Fields, and tickets go on sale tomorrow, July 5.
The German group, who are currently on touring in support of their new untitled album, will also play Lyon, Berlin and Hamburg, among others, on the 2020 tour.
Although renowned for their epic live shows, Rammstein have attracted plenty of controversy in the past, particularly for the use of Nazi imagery and declaration of "Deutschland über alles" on their single 'Deutschland'. The group have also mimicked sex acts on stage, and penned songs about convicted sex offenders.
"The music is perfectly poised for Rammstein's infamous stadium-filling antics, with crowd-participation-friendly terrace-chants like 'Auslander', 'Radio' and 'Deutschland'," Sam Steiger wrote in his Hot Press review of the band's latest album. "If you ever had the desire to shout 'Sex' at the top of your lungs will pumping a fist in the air - without getting arrested - you best get a ticket for the next show."
