Tim Wheeler's performance for Van Morrison's 75th birthday celebration goes live at 7pm this evening.
The weekend is officially here – and to celebrate, we're delighted to present Tim Wheeler as our next act on 'Rave On, Van Morrison' – performing a cover of Van's 1972 single, 'Jack Wilson Said (I'm in Heaven When You Smile)'.
Over the course of the YouTube event, celebrating Van Morrison's 75th birthday, you can expect even more renditions of the legendary artist's stunning songs from some of the most iconic names in the country – including President Michael D. Higgins with Bill Whelan, Hozier, Sinéad O'Connor, Gary Lightbody, Imelda May, Bob Geldof, Glen Hansard and Damien Dempsey, to name just a few.
Tim Wheeler rose to international attention while still in his teens, as the frontman of alternative rock band Ash – formed in Downpatrick, Co. Down in 1989. He released his acclaimed debut solo album, Lost Domain, in 2014.
