Timbaland to produce new Michael Jackson music

Timbaland says that LA Reid came to him about the project, "I got something big that I wanna do..."

The 39 second clip of Timbaland speaking about the project fails to give away too much information.

What we do know, is that the first single to be released will be titled, Chicago. As for the release date, we'll have to wait and see.

Since Jackson's death in 2009, his record label, Epic have continued to release the singer's music.

This Is It featured six previously unreleased recordings and a remix of the album Immortal was also unveiled.

Timbaland's work, should it prove to be an album of all new material, will be the most notable release of music by the singer since his death.
