The hit Australian Dance producer and Jazz prodigy is headed to Boucher Road Playing Fields this August.
Belfast Vital Festival have announced that award winning electro-house DJ and instrumentalist Timmy Trumpet will be returning to Belfast, performing at Boucher Road Playing Fields on Saturday August 24th. The classically trained jazz musician boasts of a twenty-year long music career winning Australia’s “Young Musician of the Year” at the impressive age of 13.
After studying with a full scholarship at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Timmy Trumpet proved himself an all-star jazz trumpeter and toured extensively through Europe. His 2014 breakthrough track Freaks fused his jazz prowess with dance music, reaching six-time platinum in Australia and garnering over a half a billion streams.
The Belfast show also features UK producer and songwriter Jonas Blue, coming off the success of last year’s hit single ‘Polaroid’ featuring Liam Payne and Lennon Stella. His debut album ‘Blue’ (Positiva/Virgin EMI) was released this November. Also performing are veteran electronic producer Freddie Le Grande, top Australian DJ MaRLO, and up and coming Irish house produce Jay Pryor.
