The English band are celebrating 30 years of music with an anniversary tour.
To mark 30 years since their formation, alt-rock outfit Tindersticks have announced their 'Orchestra and Guests' 2022 tour.
The anniversary tour will see them play the National Concert Hall in Dublin on April 30th next year.
A celebration of their formation in Nottingham in 1991, Tindersticks said they were "happy and relieved to be able to announce our anniversary tour."
"We have been and are greatly missing being able to play our music together and for you. But what better time to return than to celebrate 30(!) years of somehow being able to stay dedicated to doing our own thing."
We are happy to announce our 30 year anniversary tour for spring 2022. ⁰⁰We are planning 2 sets, 1st as a 5 piece & the 2nd with guests augmented by a string orchestra or quartet. ⁰With City Slang we are working on a career spanning album. https://t.co/BMLi8N5muF for details pic.twitter.com/Ap3TYsfG9R

According to their statement, each night the band will be joined by "musicians who have been part of our rich musical family over the years", and an orchestra made up of local players. They also announced they would be working on a career-spanning album release to coincide with their 30th anniversary.
Tindersticks released six albums before singer Stuart A. Staples embarked on a solo career. The band reunited briefly in 2006 and more permanently the following year.
Tickets (€50 including booking fee) go on sale Thursday, 27th May at 10am here.
Tindersticks latest studio LP, Distractions, was released earlier this year, on February 19th.
