All purchases, streams and donations will be given to Aclaí Palestine for aid packages for families.
Irish singer-songwriter Tiz McNamara and author and wellness coach Pat Divilly have released their new single ‘Black Dog’ and will be donating all proceeds from the release to Aclaí Palestine.
‘Black Dog’ was released by the duo in an attempt to spark conversation and raise awareness about mental health, as well as raising money and awareness for the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
The single is inspired by McNamara’s personal experiences with mental health, and features a spoken word piece from Pat Divilly.
McNamara hopes that by “sharing their own experiences through music, their song can spark meaningful conversations, break down barriers, and ultimately inspire hope in those who may feel overwhelmed by their own black dogs."
McNamara and Divilly announced the song in a post captioned “Releasing music feels futile in the face of what’s happening, but using our voice is one thing we have to do.”

ACLAÍ Palestine is a community gym and movement space located in the Lajee Centre in the Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, West Bank Palestine.
It was founded by strength and conditioning coach Ainle Ó Cairealláin, and coordinated by Athal Nidal, who lives in the Aida camp, since it opened in 2020.
Ó Cairealláin and trad artist Stíofán Ó Luachráin are currently doing a round-Ireland fundraiser cycle for ACLAÍ in collaboration with other charities for Palestine, and are aiming to raise €60,000 for aid packages for Palestinian families.
The cycle began on the 25 May spanning 1500 kilometres from Belfast to Meath “the long way round”, and will finish on June 7 in Féile na Gaelaí, Ráth Cairn, Meath.
