Tom Jones and Nile Rodgers & CHIC will play a joint show in Dublin’s St Anne’s Park on Sunday 9 June 2024.
With a career spanning across six decades, Jones is widely considered to be amongst the most prolific recording artists of all time, selling over 100 million records.
Now 83-years-old, the legendary Welsh singer has been receiving acclaim for his newer Ethan Johns-produced albums, including Surrounded By Time, Long Lost Suitcase, Spirit In The Room and Prise & Blame.
Starting his career gigging in local clubs and pubs in South Wales, Jones signed to Decca Records in London in the early 1960s, leading to a string of hits including ‘It’s Not Unusual’ and ‘What’s New PussyCat?’
He has since worked with a plethora of beloved artists, ranging from Stevie Wonder and Aretha Franklin to Van Morrison, Dolly Parton and Ed Sheeran.

Just as influential is Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee Nile Rodgers. This year he was awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Grammy for his indelible legacy, while also being awarded a separate Grammy for his work with Beyoncé on ‘Cuff It’.
A Co-founder of CHIC, Rodgers and his ‘Hitmaker’ guitar generated an array of chart-topping hits like ‘Le Freak’, ‘Everybody Dance’, ‘I Want Your Love’ and ‘Good Times’.
Like Jones, he’s worked with some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Sister Sledge, Diana Ross, Madonna, David Bowie, Duran Duran, and Daft Punk – creating songs which have sold over 500 million albums and 100 million singles across the globe.
