The Cavan singer also has a handful of shows coming up in December.
Rising Irish star Áine Cahill is back with her second release of new material she's been writing and recording in recent months with her brand new single 'Water Into Wine'. The track follows the July release of her song 'Beauty is a Lie', a striking piece that lambasted the influence of social media, which has gone on to receive views and streams in the hundreds of thousands across multiple platforms.
Released on East West Records, 'Water Into Wine' represents a slight sonic deviation from the songstress, with her still ever-present powerful vocals supplemented here by fuller, more layered production values than her previous single.
The singer's ascension has been swift since her talents first had a spotlight shone on them to a wider audience after a pair of rousing performances broadcast live at Glastonbury in 2016. She's since performed at the likes of Electric Picnic and 2FM's XMas Ball, while 2017 saw her song 'Plastic' receive a nomination for the RTE Choice Music Prize for Irish song of the Year.
Áine will be performing the two new singles as well as other yet to be released new material at her upcoming shows in December, where she'll be appearing in Galway (Roisin Dubh, December 9th), Cork (Cyprus Avenue, December 11th), Dublin (Whelan's, December 12th) and Limerick (Dolan's, December 13th). Tickets for each of the gigs are already on sale now.
