Listen to the delightful new anthem from Basciville.
Basciville have today released their new track 'Shall We Gather', billed as "a folk-inspired pop song with mystical qualities."
'Shall We Gather' is a delicately layered, atmospheric anthem. A quiet pastoral beauty permeates the track, with lyrics that speak of raw simplicity in an age of over production and unnecessary complication.
The band - who are made up of brothers Cillian and Lorcan Byrne - take influence from Ireland’s rich literary history, most notably the life and works of W.B. Yeats.
Following on from breakout track ‘Sweet October', 'Shall We Gather' has the same wind-worn melancholia as it’s predecessor.
A sound that is honest and distinctive.
Basciville are already looking ahead to an exciting 2019, with new tour dates, festival performances & the release of their eagerly anticipated debut album. Find out more details here: https://www.facebook.com/basciville/
