The rapper picks up his second Track of the Day nod in succession.
Irish/Jamaican/Nigerian artist JyellowL has made massive strides in the latter half of 2018. After a comparatively quiet beginning to the year that was spent setting up what was to follow, he's gone strength to strength since dropping his single 'Medusa' in June.
Thereafter came a spate of festival showings, the most notable of which came at Longitude, and that was built on with the further release of new music in the shape of his recently released sophomore EP titled Me n Me Too.
The first taste of the EP came from lead single 'Oh Lawd' back in September, a collaborative track with British-based MC Aaron U.N.K.N.O.W.N that catapulted JyellowL onto daytime radio, Spotify's New Music Friday playlist and to shows with international acts such as Hi-Rez, Son Real and Jaykae. It also picked up the coveted accolade of being our Track of the Day, too...
The release of the 'Me n Me Too' freestyle followed another memorable weekend for the rapper, after he performed at Other Voices and a picked up a nomination as one of the five artists to watch in 2019 at the Urban Music Awards in London.

The EP showcases a wide breadth of topics in only five tracks, from the vulnerability of children in today's society to the death of a huge influence on JyellowL's life in his grandfather. While 'Oh Lawd' was his most commercially viable effort to date with its laid back energy and smooth hook, this release juxtaposes that with three and a half minutes of solid rapping.
