Keep an eye out for the band's debut EP.
Limerick outfit Lost Boys have returned with 'Sadie'. Originally meant for their debut EP, the 4-piece decided to release the acoustic track as an early single due to Coronavirus.
“'Sadie' is about reality, that not everything pays off", says Michael of the track. "It’s about how you’ll walk by someone in pain on the street when at the same time all you really want to do is connect with someone. It seems to be a simple want that no one can achieve anymore”.
"It’s a change of pace to the rest of our music", continues Peter. "It’s happy yet sad themes coincide with how everyone is feeling stuck at home. While recording the song we decided to bring in the vocals of Aoife Meade and the fiddle of Deirdre Doherty. The subtle soft vocals lines matched with the expertly played traditional instrument really highlights the emotion of the track which got us so excited for it in the first place".
