Irish indie-electro duo 49th & Main are set to play Upstairs at Whelan's on September 30th.
Emerging independent outfit 49th & Main (Patrick King and Ben O'Sullivan) exploded onto the scene in 2020 after releasing a string of successful singles, from 'Don't You Like It?', 'Catching Eyes', and 'Party Alone' to 'Lost With You', 'Raw Mixer' and 'Midnight Juice'.
49th & Main's 'Catching Eyes' racked up over four million Spotify streams, with recent single - laidback summer anthem 'Good Life' - set to surpass this.
The pair have now unleashed their latest track on the world, another chilled out electronic number titled 'I Want You'.
Using a lo-fi guitar riff from the beginning to pave the way for the song's soundscape, the strong vocals overlay synths and backing beats.
Focusing on the addictive nature of another person, 'I Want You' features confessional lyrics showcasing the subject's dedication to the romantic connection.

The pair have hit in the Irish scene with a unique jazz-influenced house sound, featuring catchy riffs that will immediately get stuck in your head straight. Their new track is as infectious as the rest of their catalogue, luckily for us.
With millions of streams and a host of Spotify editorial playlist additions, 2021 looks to be an exciting year for Irish lads. Tickets are still on sale for their September Whelan's gig, nab them here.
