Cat Turner first emerged back in 2017 with debut singles 'I Can(T) Take You' and 'Skin', before releasing her Contrast EP the following year.
Since then, the Irish musician has unveiled 2018 single 'Easier', 2019's '23/IOU' and Situation EP, 'Home' and 2020 singles 'I Need You', 'Outside', 'Who Decides', 'Tragic' and her House Plant EP.
Last year saw 'Be More Likely', 'It's Just Fine' and 'Got It Wrong', but the singer has returner this week with new offering 'Quit It'. With warped vocals and electro-pop influences, the synth-heavy track has an infectiously catchy nature. 'Quit It' touches on loneliness and existential questions, with diaristic lyrics layered on top of dreamy background instrumentation.
"I'm so happy to be back releasing music," Cat said on her Instagram page.
"I know I'm not alone in saying 2021 was a pretty shitty year for me but I'm super glad to have taken these songs from it. I've got a lot of tunes that I'm very proud of that I'm gonna be releasing this year and this is the first of that project."

"I wanna be just proud of their existence but it's also very important to me to share them with everyone so your support in all forms means the world and is a massive motivation for me to keep 'em coming."
