Check out the Irish musician's new release below!
Lizzie Fitzpatrick, better known under her Coolgirl moniker, has released her second single taken from her upcoming EP, titled 'High Altar'.
A synth-soaked track, worthy of the rave in the woods on a sweaty Saturday night of Electric Picnic, 'High Altar' was created by sampling the sound of knocking a radiator.
While undoubtedly a dance track, there is some emotional depth to the release, turning up the minor keys and allowing you to feel. Personally, I see the track doing particularly well in a tripped-out episode of Euphoria, or something similar.
According to the artist, the synth sounds are a mix of analogue synths in Coolgirl's bedroom studio and some modellers.
"It was written to demonstrate the emotional aspect of dance music and how an upturned bass melody and rolling cutoffs can display an intense sadness," the artist claimed.

Coolgirl's first single received praise from the likes of Nialler9, District Magazine, Get In Her Ears, GoldenPlec, and was featured previously as our Track of the Day.
The producer/composer recently performed a highly regarded set at Limerick's Feile na Greine and will perfoem at Dublin Fringe festival.
